The Tibetan Friendship Group held our Pray for World Peace Event on Saturday 30th September 2017 at North Curl Curl Community Centre, partnering with St David's Uniting Church Dee Why, The Northern Beaches Council and NSW Government. We were very fortunate to receive the Northern Beaches Stronger Communities Fund grant, and we are very appreciative to the Council for their support of the event.

The event celebrated different Cultures and Religions in the community in celebration of World Peace Day. The community was able to hear speeches and prayers from highly regarded Religious leaders and individuals from diverse backgrounds, socialise and meet new people and eat a delicious Tibetan meal provided to all attendees.
