Tibetan Children’s Village, (TCV) Dharamsala, Bylakuppe, Lower Chantra and other areas:-  One of the first established centres to care for the children fleeing from Tibet. As well as general education they are taught the Tibetan language and culture. The students now go on to tertiary levels and TCV run hostels for accommodation in the cities for young Tibetans students and in first employment. $30.00 per month.

Dept Education of Tibetan Government in Exile:- One of our biggest centres with sponsorship money going to students in schools all over India. Usually the schools are known as Central School for Tibetans. Some of the children come from remote areas and do not see their parents for years. TFG is establishing a special fund to help the families unite. $30.00 per month.

Old People’s Home, Tibetan Refugee Self help Centre Darjeeling:- a very rewarding centre, where the smaller regular sponsorship money helps the older people become a little more independent. Most of Tibetans helped were early refugees, with no families, who worked on road building, etc. They are now frail, but sit together each day, chatting, as they card and sort the wool at the carpet factory. $15.00 per month
Tibetan Homes Foundation, Mussoorie:- This has become one of the largest Tibetan schools, and sitauted in the remote mountain top of Mussoorie. THF send regular reports, letters. Supporters through TFG become part-sponsors. $120 per year.
Gompopa Clinic:-  is open to not only Tibetans but all locals. This is associated with the Drukpa Kargyu Centre, and also an old people’s home. All are attached to the Dali Monastery just outside Darjeeling. General donation
Drukpa Kargyu Centre, ‘School for Destitute Boys’ Darjeeling:- A small lay school associated with the nearby Dali monastery. $30.00 per  month
KDTL Mahayana Buddhist Nunnery:- The first sponsorship settlement helped by TFG in 1969. In a remote area in the Kangra Valley, it has little general support and many needy nuns. $30.00 per month

Tibetan Torture Survivors Programme:- –most important work with these fragile Tibetan people, who have suffered much. General donation.

Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts:- More sponsors needed for these talented teenage students, who carry the responsibility of preserving the unique and colourful Tibetan culture into another era. $30.00 per month

Kagyudpa Monastery Bylekuppe:-  In south India, so different from Tibet, this has developed from a tiny beginning, and now has a remarkable reputation for monastic education. Work on a new temple is progressing. $30.00 per month.

Sakya Society Puruwala:- Remote and isolated, they have tried farming, but now resort to carpet weaving and Tibetan handicrafts, to support the families. Both public latrines and latrines for individual homes have been built from TFG funds, but more are needed. $30 per month or general donation for latrine project
Yong Ling Creche:- This high standard centre of care and education, has grown from efforts of the early carpet weavers to keep their young children from playing on the road, while they worked at their looms. General donation
Adult Evening education classes: Now being established at Yong Ling Crèche for new arrivals from Tibet and other Tibetans who have slipped through the education loop. This will help with their employment and quality of life. General donation
Tibetan Delek Hospital:- TFG has been involved here since it’s early beginnings as a one ward clinic. Delek has now Tibetan doctors, trained in western medicine, assisted by voluntary doctors from all over the world. It has now separate wards for TB sufferers, up to date machines, including the development of the computerisation of the hospital in all departments. General donation

Jamyang Choling Nunnery:- We were asked by HH Dalai Lama to assist the Nunnery which studies a combination of all Sects of Tibetan Buddhism. They strive to be self supporting, growing vegetables etc, but need help. A monastery on same principals has also been established elsewhere. Sponsorship $30.00 per month or General donation.

Nyingtobling School for Handicapped Children:-  Much needed, as previously children with disabilities were often left in their homes alone, when their parents had to work, with burns and accidents resulting. The school is growing and they are extending to other Tibetan settlements. General donation
